ABOUT SECTION HOUSE
Section House is the newest project slated for the historic Sawyer Hardware & Lumber building. Built in the early 1900's as a lumber and coal yard, and famously known as one of the original buildings in Sawyer, these humble beginnings once boasted the site of a third rail that logged many miles. Owners of hardware store are now passionately reimagining the space to bring something new and fresh to the area. The historic and original lumber loading station still stands behind the space.
DREW & JO
OUR STORY
Drew and Jo have owned this unique space since May 2012 and after almost 10 years of managing it as the Sawyer Hardware and Lumber storefront, in 2020 they decided to take a pause and start their new adventure of turning it into an event space strategically named: Section House.
Drew is a lifelong carpenter who specializes in design and restoration, while Jo has a background in art and equine therapy. As a lovers of all things design, this truly has been a labor of love for them both, bringing this venue to life.
